Doug was raised in Todd County. After spending several years away for college and working in the Metro area, he returned home to stay.

“Since my return, I have been deeply committed to our community through my involvement with organizations such as the Red Cross, the Long Prairie Chamber, the Jaycees, and as a founder of the Community Growth Fund,” he said.

He currently serves as the Vice Chair of the Osakis Lake Association and is an active member of the CentraCare Foundation Board and the Charitable Giving Planning board. He is very involved in his parish, St. Mary of Mount Carmel, where he serves on numerous Five Star ACC committees.

“My involvement with the TCDC board is fueled by a sincere desire to make our region more vibrant. I am dedicated to creating an environment where people truly want to come, live, and thrive in our county,” he said.
