Allison Frederickson

Allison lives in Wadena County, granting her a board position at large.  

After graduating from the University of Minnesota, she lived in the Twin Cities for over a decade before she and her husband realized how much they wanted to return to their roots. In 2018, they made their move back to Wadena County.

“I have been here ever since and wouldn’t have it any other way,” she said. “Rural communities offer an incredible quality of life, and I’m proud to call one home.”

Allison is currently the Member and Energy Services Manager for Todd-Wadena Electric, overseeing its economic development program. “As a cooperative, one of our principles is concern for the community so we are always looking for active ways to make an impact. This is why I serve on TCDC.” She also sits on the Alliance board, which is Wadena County’s economic development organization.

“I want to contribute to the continued growth and success of our region by supporting efforts that create opportunity, strengthen our local businesses, and give our young people reasons to stay, or come back home,” she said. “My personal vision is to see Todd County continue to grow as a place where businesses can open and succeed, good jobs are available, and people choose to stay or return to build their lives here. I want our county to be a place where communities, families, and businesses can thrive.”
