Staples Funding Tourism Promotion
10 Sep 2018
The City of Staples recently approved an ordinance that allows the City to implement a Local Lodging Tax. The proceeds of this tax must be utilized to fund a Tourism Promotion Committee for the purpose of marketing and promoting the City as a tourist center. The City is requesting proposals from nonprofit organizations which have experience and qualifications in regards to marketing, specifically tourism marketing.
The selected organization will be held responsible for all financial management, implementation, and reporting duties to execute a defined strategic marketing plan. This would include the management and oversight of any and all hired resources to complete plan requirements. Click here to learn more about this project.
