CentraCare Plans New Wellness Center

CentraCare has plans underway to construct a 12,000-square-foot, $4.5-million building adjacent to the new hospital and clinic in Long Prairie. The Regional Community Well-Being Center will provide programs, services, and amenities designed to promote healthy lifestyles, enhance the quality of life and support well-being through the six dimensions of wellness.
Construction of the Regional Community Well-Being Center began on August 16, 2018. The facility is expected to be completed in May 2019. Fundraising will continue through construction to secure the remaining funds necessary for the project.
This Community Well-Being building project has been selected by the Region Five Development Commission CREDS Strategy Committee. This project was recognized as an initiative that has regional significance and possesses multi-jurisdictional, multi-agency benefits. You can learn more about it here.
