11th Annual Cinco de Mayo Fiesta at Long Prairie-Grey Eagle High School

    May 7, 2018

Over 500 people attended the 11th annual Cinco de Mayo fiesta at the Long Prairie - Grey Eagle High school on Friday May 4th.  Every guest received a free complimentary meal of chicken flautas, Mexican party rice, pasta salad, and a beverage. The meal was prepared on-site by Rafaela Orozco and her team of superb cooks. While they were eating - and afterwards - guests were entertained by the spectacular Fandazzi Fire Circus, Long Prairie’s own Mexican folklore dance group, and a group of ever so cool and smooth salsa dancers.”

The event was supported by the Long Prairie - Grey Eagle school district, the Long Prairie business community, many volunteers, and with a grant from National Joint Power Alliance for the Region 5 Development Commission’s “The Good Life” branding project.
