16 Apr 2018
Residents of Todd County now have even more options in medical care. The Lakewood Health System has invested $20-million in an expansion to provide services to additional residents and expand current facilities, including their emergency room.
The Staples expansion will include more clinic space and infrastructure devoted to women's health, as well as improving the MRI unit and expanding the ED area. There will be 36 new exam rooms when the Staples addition is finished. With the expansion slated for completion around year-end 2017, these new areas will be open to patients and make it possible for more residents of Todd County to receive affordable, convenient and beneficial medical care.
