Beyond these concrete attributes, there’s a key factor in regional economic success: Collaboration. When for- and non-profit entities, along with schools and government bodies all put effort into the community, the result is greater than the sum of its parts.

That’s why here in Todd County, Minnesota, we place an emphasis on our partnerships between economic development organizations and employers in our region. A good example is Long Prairie Packing Company/American Food Group. A major employer that provides living wage jobs with benefits in our community, AFG plays a key role in the success of our region.
