Small Business Relief Grant Program approved in Todd County

On Tuesday, August 4, 2020, the Todd County Board of Commissioners approved a Small Business Relief Grant Program funded through the CARES CRF (Coronavirus Relief Fund). The grant program is for businesses directly affected by the MN Governor’s Emergency Executive Orders 20-04 and 20-08. The program is designed to reimburse the costs of business interruption caused by the required closures. An application form has been developed and will be posted on the Todd County website under the Business Resources page for download. The website is https://www.co.todd.mn.us/business-resources. The application explains required documentation and how to submit the application. The grants awarded will be up to $5,000 for eligible businesses who meet the criteria of the application and provide supporting documentation.

The application period is from August 10, 2020 through August 28, 2020. Applications will be reviewed over a two week period, with grant awards approved on September15 .
